Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe - Germany

The Badische Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe is the largest museum for culture, art and state history in the “Baden” part of Baden-Württemberg. It is housed in the former residence of the Grand Dukes. As a universal museum, in which history, art and historical ways of life are combined to form an interdisciplinary, broad cultural-historical panorama, the particular focus is on the presentation of cultures of various epochs and regions. One important focus is educational work with young people, people of foreign origins or people who are particularly challenged.

In addition to large cultural-historical exhibitions, the BLM organizes regular museum festivals and events with Mediterranean countries or “Turkish Days” aimed at encouraging understanding among different peoples.
